I can remember growing up not only in a Christian home, but in gospel music. At the early age of 4 my dad started traveling and playing bass guitar for various gospel artists. With me being exposed to this kind of lifestyle, of course it would rub off on me. I started playing the drums beside my dad and this was just the beginning of my gospel music journey. Little did I know at the age of 13, there was a big part in my life missing…Jesus Christ. I had gone all these years thinking that my walk was right with God. You see most people think that if they are brought up in a Christian home and are exposed to Gospel music this means they are guaranteed a spot in Heaven. My walk with God changed in October of 1989 during a youth revival in Selma, NC. Wayne Jolly was there preaching on the “Right and Wrongs” of life. The message hit home on Christian values and on the way to stand up as a Christian in today’s world. That night I accepted Him into my heart. To God be the Glory. After this change in my life I felt like the world had been lifted off my shoulders

It’s amazing how God works; I met a young lady in Suffolk, VA about a year later that would become my wife in December of 1998. From there we now have a beautiful little girl. God has been a true blessing to me and my family…thank you Lord.
