Originally from Goldsboro, The Southern Ambassadors formed in late 1988 and began traveling locally to different churches around the Goldsboro area in early 1989. As our schedule grew so did our vision and commitment to the call and ministry that God has assigned. After just a few short months, The Southern Ambassadors had two recording projects completed (The Winning Side and His Name is Jesus) and were singing everywhere including a few out of state bookings. God had blessed the ministry greatly and allowed us to see many lives transformed by His mercy and grace. In late 1993, after much prayer and consideration, the group decided to disband and spend more time with their families and serve in their local churches.

In November of 2000 God allowed the door to open once again and with a new face and a couple of changes we are now back on the road going wherever He leads us, singing for His glory. The past few years have proven to be the start of a new chapter for The Southern Ambassadors ministry. We are committed to His call, take great joy in worshipping The Father, and work diligently to spread His message to as many as possible.

The current members of this ministry all hold full-time jobs and work in their local churches in the Goldsboro, Garner, Smithfield, and Raleigh area. These men receive no compensation from the ministry other than the reward of seeing hearts and lives changed by God`s grace, therefore, all love gifts are sewn back into the ministry.

We are excited about how God is moving in our services and we would love to have the opportunity to worship God with your congregation. If you`d be interested in having The Southern Ambassadors sing at your church please feel free to contact us.
